Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
ASE/Manufacturer Certifications a plus, but not required
PA State Inspection and Emission Licenses (required)
Perform all levels of preventive/routine maintenance services
Perform diagnoses and repairs, including but not limited to: light engine work, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, electrical systems (starters and alternators) HVAC systems, steering & suspension systems
Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order
Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
Conduct road test to confirm work successfully completed
Complete the work, notations and time-keeping necessary to the successful completion of warranty repair orders and the filing of warranty claims
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs to continuously expand knowledge of new technology
Comply with all federal, state and local laws, as well as company policy, regarding safeguarding all customer vehicles, property and information
Have excellent time management and problem-solving skills
Be able to achieve targeted goals, be consistent, and be on-time
Have your own basic tools
Be team oriented, flexible, maintain a high level of customer service
Have basic computer skills
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
